The Ketamine Taskforce

is a 100% volunteer based organization committed to increasing safe care, accessibility, education, and insurance coverage for all Veterans, First Responders, Health Professionals, and any other human in need.

Our Mission Statement

The Ketamine Taskforce ensures that every person battling with chronic pain and mental health has access to ketamine’s profoundly effective therapies.

We seek to gain approval by insurance companies, Tricare, VA and Medicare to cover the costs of infusions while providing a fair reimbursement rate to ketamine providers.

A core part of our efforts as well is to improve awareness and education around ketamine therapy to reduce the legacy stigma surrounding ketamine usage and abuse.

About Us

The Ketamine Taskforce was created by a small group of patients, doctors, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and nurse practioners who saw the need for insurance to cover Ketamine treatments for mental health and pain. The Taskforce aims to fight to help patients everywhere who could benefit from these treatments.

No one should be denied access to medical treatments that have the potential to save their life. The Taskforce has expanded our cause to include research studies to prove these treatments work. The team is dedicated to fighting the stigma surrounding Ketamine and other psychedelic medicine as they become legalized.

The Taskforce has grown through the work volunteers who believe in the mission. We welcome all volunteers who have something to contribute and want to further our cause.

Insurance and Medicare Coverage of Ketamine Treatments

The Taskforce has had several meetings with local medicare management companies. They advised us that the research on the senior population is very limited and they will not approve anything without proof that it is safe and effective for those over the age of 65. We have put together a study but lack funding.

We would love your support.
